Business Development Manager - Packaging Applications (f/m)

Your responsibilities:
  • product or category and brand management
  • cooperation with production plants, sales, planning, customer service team (CSC), regional and Europe & International marketing
  • participate or lead sales, marketing or business development related projects
Product Management:
  • support development of YBBS® premium board portfolio strategy to increase performance
  • assessing market potentials for uncoated wood-free premium board by evaluating market and competitor business intelligence information
  • support development of new product ideas and launch of new products
  • support the continuous development of existing product portfolio
  • build-up and transfer product and technology expertise
  • monitoring of pricing in close cooperation with pricing manager and mill controlling
  • tracking of the product performance by actively using existing reporting tools (SAP, CRM)
Business Development:
  • identifying possible uses of Mondi papers and premium boards in the value chain of packaging applications
  • support opening up new market segments by visiting and understanding the needs of end-customers, printers, converters and merchants
  • supporting developing and gradually develop opportunities along this value chain including offering and sales process
  • maintain and further develop business with existing customers in the packaging area
  • maintain and further develop relations with leading OEMs for the folding box printing and converting industry
Our requirements:

Languages:
Fluent English skills, advanced German skills, any other roman language is an asset

Education:
Bachelor or master degree; commercial education or relevant experience

Experience:
3-5 years experience in product marketing, sales or business development

Other:
  • advanced Computer/ IT skills
  • intermediate SAP skills
  • basic/intermediate financial knowledge
  • combine structure, creativity and analytical skills
Additional Comments:
Approximately 40% travel time
